How does Fertomid 25 work?
Fertomid tablets consist of Clomiphene. It is a selective oestrogen receptor modulator and binds to receptor of oestrogen in the brain control centre (hypothalamus) as a result it inhibit the negative feedback action of oestrogen. In case of low oestrogen levels the hypothalamus is stimulated to synthesize gonadotrophins which releases two hormones from the pituitary gland (hormone control centre in the brain) one is FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and second hormone is LH (luteinizing hormone) which are vital for ovulation and proper functioning by stimulating the egg follicle’s growth and maturation in the ovaries. When the follicle matures fully it ruptures, releases the egg, which is result in ovulation process. The mature ruptured follicle is called the corpus luteum and synthesizes the progesterone hormone, which helps endometrium (lining of the uterus) ripen ready for conceiving.
